Duterte Narco List.Ex-Mayor Brother Of San Pablo City Shot Dead.

Damaso Amante, kapatid ng San Pablo City Mayor, patay sa ambush!

The brother of ex-San Pablo Mayor Vicente Amante who was allegedly in the "narco-list" of President Rodrigo Duterte was shot dead by unidentified gunmen in San Pablo, Laguna Thursday. 

A DZMM report said Damaso Amante, 64, younger brother of the former mayor, was driving his Toyota Innova at Barangay del Remedio at 1:20 p.m. when he was shot multiple times by the suspects. 

He was declared dead on arrival at the hospital. 

San Pablo police said the victim was on the police watch list. Authorities have yet to determine if the shooting is linked to the government's war on drugs. 

The younger Amante ran for congressman of Laguna's 3rd District under the Nationalist People's Coalition in the May 2016 elections but lost. Other Amante politicians in San Pablo are affiliated with the United Nationalist Alliance. 

Amante was earlier included in Duterte's "narco-list", which was made public last August.
