4 MONTH OLD RAPE SUSPECT APPEALING TO VP LENI FOR A SECOND CHANCE

A suspect in the abduction and rape of a 4-month-old baby in Barangay Perrelos, Carcar City was arrested by police after an eyewitness pointed him out.

Jonathan Marfe, 40 years old and a native of Bohol was arrested by the Carcar City police in the house owned by his live-in partner on February 10, 2017 (Friday).
The couple’s house is only 10 meters away from that of the victim’s.



Eyewitness account of the suspect’s friend reports that Marfe was seen going inside the house of the infant just before midnight of February 8, 2017 (Wednesday) which was the same time the infant was taken from her mother.

Chief Insp. Jose Liddawa, Carcar police chief said that Marfe was drinking with his friend in his live-in partner’s house on the same night of the incident. Marfe’s partner is a resident of Barangay Perrelos. Marfe admitted that he is also in the influence of drugs when the incident happen. "Bangag ako noon kaya di ko makontrol ang ginagawa ko. Patawarin nyo sana ako. Sabi nga ni Madam Leni, dapat bigyan ng chance ang mga Drug Addict na mag bagong buhay." Marfe said.
